the hospital Sunday night. Her birthday is Thursday!
o If you are still
needing curriculum, there is some in the lending library that you can borrow.

of the mom's room at lunch time on Friday to allow for set up for another
group. If you are staying for afternoon electives, please move to the gym or
room 134 to fellowship.

Blessing Barn is going to be quite plentiful on Friday, after an entire summer,
so we are going to have it in room G134, the room right next to the mom's room.
Please drop off and pick up your items from there. Remember to bring only
gently used items.

Next week (9/7), we will be breaking into
smaller groups with a table leader. This will help us get to know each other
better.
Next week (9/7) we will talk about Psalm 145. In preparation, you may want to
read Psalm 144.

Remember
that the hospitality table is for moms and dads only. Please don’t allow your
children to eat or drink from the table. Also, do not allow your children to go
into other rooms in the G building that are not classrooms. Any children that
are not in class or nursery need to sit quietly near you on the floor in the
mom’s room.
When entering or leaving the moms’ room
during prayer or during a speaker, please enter through the back (room 134)
door in order to minimize distractions. Please try to be on time to prayer
time, and not get up until it is over, in order to avoid interruptions.
Next week, we will start our table time.
o You will be able to
pick a table next week as long as a spot is open. You will know a spot is
available if you see a “Thankful Journal” there.
For your attendance records:
o Mark “P” or “A” for
present or absent.
o Planned vacations/
non school days should be left blank.
o If you do have
school on a weekend day, simply put a “P” for present.
o The school start
and end dates may be changed. Simply change those dates on the document you
saved on your computer.
o Remember any
educational trips and outings count as a school day.
o When you do school
work for part of the day and then run errands, that can count as a school day.
o Kristen H.
e-mailed everyone the attendance document on August 1. Please look through your
e-mails and save this document to your computer.
In the gym, students must stay off the
stage area. Please remind the students not to climb on chairs, kick and throw
the balls hard, and to be gentle with the younger children.
The blessing barn will be the first Friday of the month, starting next week.
o We will need to
clean up the items at 12:15.
o Remember, this is
for gently used items.
Make sure we are cleaning up and being
neat. We are the only group meeting at the church on Fridays. When you see
trash, pick it up. Encourage your children to do the same.
If anyone is interested in planning a
park day, you can make a flyer and bring it to PSP. We can make copies for you.
You can also utilize the group e-mail for this.
When using the group e-mail, remember it
is for PSP related topics. Be sure to change the subject line. If you have a
business, there are guidelines for using the group e-mail. More details are
forthcoming.
Everyone should have received her Choosing Gratitude book by now.
o Please refer to
your moms’ time calendar for the reading schedule. The date is for the Friday
ending that week, so you should complete the chapter or devotional by the end
of that month.
o We will be reading
about a chapter a month and a devotional a week, so for September, we are
reading chapter one and devotionals 1, 2&3.
o You do not have to
answer all of the questions for each devotional. They are a guide. You can pick
out questions that you found thought-provoking.
o Everyone will be
getting a “thankful journal.”
§ They will be at the
tables next week
§ The book suggests
writing down five things you are thankful for every morning without repeating
any of them.
§ You can organize
your journal any way you want. The first half could be lists. The second half
could be prayers and songs. There is not one right way.
§ No one will be looking at your journal, and
you are not required to share it with anyone. It is between you and the Lord.
Have your children memorize 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 so they can say it to their
coordinators for candy.
Announcements-Susan O.
